    Rick Kohltfarber

    Dr. Rick Kohltfarber was born on the Kona side of the main island of Hawaii. He spent his childhood working with animals on his family’s dairy farm in Oregon and their goat farm in Nevada. With the passion for animal care growing stronger every year, he decided to pursue a lifelong career as a veterinarian. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada at Reno, Dr. Kohltfarber obtained his DVM degree at Western University of Health Sciences, California. Dr. Kohltfarber excelled himself in Small Animal Medicine and fostered a special interest in orthopedic corrective procedures. He also devoted a significant amount of time in mastering the art of minimally invasive techniques. Beyond being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Kohltfarber enjoys playing basketball, mountain bike riding, hiking, and camping. As a new edition to the family, Olive, a rescued Brussels Griffon-Pug mix, fills up Dr. Kohltfarber’s daily schedule.

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Dr. Justin Greco, DACVS is a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon providing mobile surgical services to select veterinary hospitals.

    Dr. Greco has been board certified in veterinary surgery since 2007. He is a 2002 Phi Zeta graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Upon graduation, he completed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. He received his formal surgical training at the Animal Medical Center, in New York City, the oldest and most established post graduate veterinary training program in the country. After completing his surgical residency he went on to become a lecturer in surgery at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine and stayed on as a staff orthopedic surgeon and then adjunct assistant professor for 4 years.
